in January, was appealed to the state Supreme Court and the appeal denied. Judge Carlton Penn ordered that Milburn report to jail by July 31 to serve his time. Milburn was sentenced to 30 days in jail for possession of marijuana and five years in the Department of Corrections for possession of cocaine. All but six months was suspended and that six months is to be served in the Rappahannock jail. Penn set a court date of Aug. 6 for control purposes (in order to ensure that Milburn reports as ordered). An order will also be sent to Milburn’s attorney, David Downes.
