I also feel your mention of Ethel’s apparent lack of a secured seat belt while the unscathed truck driver was wearing his is insensitive and irrelevant to the article. Ethel could have been wearing a suit of armor and yet would not have had a prayer for survival when struck by 10 to 15 tons of steel and gravel.
