They plan to achieve these goals by interviewing area residents, including adults, teens and preteens (grades 5-12). The first survey was conducted during Book Day at both schools, with additional surveys of students and community members to follow. The project will conclude sometime in October.

Plans are to produce a final short video, using comments from survey participants, to vocalize Rappahannock county teen needs and concerns. A plan of action will also be presented at that time, detailing what the next step in the Youth Development Program should be.
