Lack of depth is a potential problem for the varsity Lady Panthers, and it showed on this night. Three players were in foul trouble at the half with three personals. Rebecca Letsen fouled out with 5:49 left in the third quarter, leaving Stanley with only eight players to go the rest of the way.
Despite the problems, Rappahannock had some bright spots. The Lady Panthers were led by Rebecca Metcalf, who scored ten points and pulled down six rebounds. Katey Wilson registered eight rebounds and two blocked shots. Amber Welch added three points and five boards off the bench.

JV Girls -28
The JV contest earlier in the evening was a tale of two different halves. Unfortunately for Rappahannock, the second half was the worse of the two as they lost an 11 point half-time lead and came up on the short end at the final buzzer.
The JV Lady Panthers led 8-1 after one quarter and 20-9 at the intermission. They were led by Amanda Weakley, who was a force on the offensive glass in the first two quarters, and Amy Cl nedinst.
Weakley finished with 12 points, 20 rebounds and three blocked shots. Clinedinst scored eight points and grabbed six boards. However, these two ladies did most of their damage before the break. Rappahannock got little going offensively in the second half.
