make musical instruments, the Art Department will need empty plastic gallon milk or water jugs (clean, please!), empty coffee cans with lids, 16-20 ounce plastic water bottles, hub caps and sauce pan lids. You or your child may begin dropping these off at the Art Room right away, so that we can begin to asses how many more we may need to collect. Thank you for helping us to recycle in this creative way!
On Thursday, Sept. 9, the fourth/fifth and the sixth/seventh Grade Instructional Teams would like to invite parents and students to attend our Open House at RCES! Each team would appreciate an opportunity to more fully explain their respective instructional programs to families. The fourth/fifth grade program will begin at 6:30 p.m. The sixth/seventh grade program will begin at 7.
Each program will open in the RCES gym with some general comments. Parents and students will then have an opportunity, to follow a shortened version of their child’s daily schedule to get a “taste” of the goals and procedures for these two programs. We look forward to seeing as many parents as possible at this special event.
This is just one more example of the teachers and administrators going that extra mile to improve communication within our school community. Please don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to become better informed. It should be fun to boot!
