Even with tougher competition in the Bull Run District this year, Rappahannock High Cross Country Coach Reed Gillespie believes that his team can have a good season.
“They can do really well,” said Gillespie, who lost five girls and five boys from last year’s team but has his top two runners returning, Beth Yowell and Mark Williams.
Last year, both the girls and boys teams finished sixth in the Region B tournament. The top four in teams in the regionals advance to the state.
