Oratorio Society to begin rehearsals
The Front Royal Oratorio Society will begin rehearsals foi its 1999-2000 season on Monday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church at 115 Luray Avenue in Fronl Royal. Prospective new members are welcome, no auditior required. “All are invited to come and join singers from a six county area,” said an organizer.
George Amos, Music Director, promises an enjoyable seasor for singers and audiences alike. The first concert will feature Advent/Christmas music from composers throughout the cen turies. In the spring, the proposed feature work will be Car Orff’s spectacular and ever-popular Carmina Burana. For more information call 622-6974.
