Rappahannock County High School on Sept. 17. The program is to stress the importance of proper attire for all occasions. Suitable school clothing and other costumes, provided by merchants from Front Royal and Culpeper, will be modeled by Senior 4-H mefnbers. The program is sponsored by the VPI Cooperative Extension Service.

A Rappahannock person really won the annual Rappahannock County Labor Day Invitational Amateur Mixed Doubles Whistlecup Tennis Tournament this year. Robert O’Bannon of Woodville, a native and Sue Tompkins, also of Woodville,were the victors and receive their whistlecups from Mrs. I.L. Parrish. In the finals also were Mrs. Marta Tholand and James Bow. Labor Day designates the end of summer and the closing of swimming pools.
