Edgar Francis Browning Williams, 82, of Front Royal died Wednesday, Sept. 1 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Sept. 3 at Maddox Funeral Home with the Rev. James Burke and Elder James Yates. Burial followed at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was horn Dec. 3, 1916 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Ruth Ann Williams. He was employed by Old Virginia Packing Company for 10 years and retired from the Town of Front Royal after 25 years. He was a member of Willis Chapel Church at Huntly.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Alma Elizabeth Pullen Williams; a daughter, Melinda Williams Putnam and husband Ted of Front Royal and
