Fall sculpture class set
A fall sculpture class, figure sculpture in clay, will be held for nine weeks beginning Sept. 28 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $225 and includes model and materials fees and will be taught by Charles Flickinger at the Oldway Art Center near Sperryville. School Choice Conference set

Quilting Group to resume
The Quilting Group will resume on Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. at the Rappahannock Extension Office’s conference room. There will be instructions for beginners and help available for the more experienced. There will also be new patterns and helpful hints for all. Bring a project or just bring yourself and have fun. “Preserving Family Lands ” seminar
“Preserving Family Lands,” by Stephen J. Small, one of the nation’s top authorities on saving land and money with conservation easements will be presented on Sept. 9. A seminar for attorneys, appraisers, accountants and realtors will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the John Barton Payne Building, 2 Courthouse Square Warrenton. That evening, Small will lead a presentation and discussion for the general public at the same location from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. CLE, CPE, and CE appraiser credit will be offered for the morning session..
