Things are rolling now! Both RCES and RCHS are full of energy, and the enthusiasm of students and teachers is astounding.
In order to insure the safety and well being of all of our students (your children), it is important that all parents make every effort to return required forms to the schools as soon as possible. At RCES a star was drawn at the top of all forms which need to be returned hoping that this would make your job a little easier, particularly for those of you with more than one child.
Mrs. Dannette Opseth, in the RCES office, is anxious to receive the Emergency Forms which list names and phone numbers of people to contact if parents cannot be located, as well as your plan for your children on early dismissal days.
Mrs. Linda .Torrance, School Nurse, needs all forms returned which give permission for her to administer over the counter medicines to your children as needed. Many times a child may be uncomfortable with a headache or stuffy nose, but not sick enough to have to go home. With your permission, the nurse may offer your child an appropriate medication which will give him/her enough relief to complete the day at school. If you have questions about this policy or the form, please call Mrs. Torrance at 987-8259.
