^Baldwin case

postponed

The court date for Danny and Bonnie Sue Baldwin of Sperryville has been postponed until Thursday, June 15 at 10 a.m. The trial will be held in Charlottesville.

The Baldwins were indicted on March 11,1999 for bear poaching and the sale of illegally taken wildlife.

Auxiliary to

sponsor yard sale

The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary will be sponsoring a yard sale and a cookout on Saturday, May 6 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad building. Numerous items will be available and more information may be obtained by calling 987-8495.

Nature Camp to

be held in July

The Rappahannock Nature Camp will be held July 3-14 at Singing Creek near Sperryville. This is a day camp for girls and boys age eight to 13, devoted to the study and exploration of local natural history. For information, call Lyt Wood at 675-1088, or pick up a brochure at the Tree Works office in Washington (next to Extension Office).
