How fascinating to observe the potter as she molds a mere hunk of clay into art. This craftsperson is in complete control of the size and the shape of the vessel spinning on (he wheel. Determined by the pressure of the fingers, the object of choice appears. During the sculpting process, one might wonder how it will come to be, but the potter knows from the very beginning.
At times we are puzzled by God. the greatest potter. We do not understand how He shapes us in His own image...the greatest work of all lime. We question our Creator, “Why me, Lord?" In Isaiah 64:7-K, Isaiah questioned God... “for Thou hast hid Thy face from us, and hast delivered us into the hand of our iniquities." But Isaiah trusted God’s love... “Yet. 0 Lord, Thou art our Lather: we are the day and Thou art the Potter; we are all the work of Thy hand."
