• The audience enjoyed “An Evening with the Masters”, the WCDS Spring Concert, presented by Mrs. Bobbi Andes’ lower sctjool music students last Friday night in the WCDS auditorium.
Along with biographies of composers, the likes of Bach, Mozart, Chopin Jind Pachelbel, performance highlights were a piano duet, by Nicole and Michelle Feg£as; solo violinist, Nell Mann; solo pianist, Nicole Espinola; and Patrick Dale’s lead vocal on “He was a Polish Boy”.
Ballerinas danced i to Tchaikovsky’s “^he Nutcracker” and the entire ensemble backed up the seventh grade girls on its own version of Pachelbel’s “Canon in D”, entitled “Harmony”The concert was followed; by the annual WCDS Spring Art Show. '
• WCDS students in ;the lower school have enjoyed the opportunity to take optional weekly ballet classes, taught by Melissa Largent, as a supplement to the Physical Education Program throughout the school year. Their Hard work will culminate with a ballet recital at 3 p.m. on May 7 at the school.
