Kids ’ fishing day slated
The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, the Town of Front Royal and the Northern Shenandoah Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited, (of which Rappahannock is a part) are co-sponsoring the third -annual Kids’ Fishing Day on Saturday, May 6. This event will take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Happy Creek in Front Royal Municipal Park near Bing Crosby Stadium. Children, ages 2 to 15 are invited to participate • and must be accompanied by a parent or adult. !
Yard, bake sale planned
The Love and Laughter Relay for Life team will sponsor a yard and bake sale on Saturday, May 6 beginning at 8 a.m. in front of the Flint Hill Post Office. All proceeds will go toward the ; American Cancer Society. i
Education Advisory Council to meet
