Our U-12 Firebirds, sponsored by Miller Brothers construction, played Culpeper 2 at home on Saturday. Both teams came out ready to compete and at the end of the first half it was a 0-0 tie. With the team work of the Firebirds getting stronger as the game continued, and Coach Pendleton adjusting the field players often, the Firebirds scored late in the second half that lead to the end. With the final score of 01, Firebirds took the victory and congratulated Culpeper with a “great game.”
U-lO’s Blue Lightening team played Madison 3 with a tie game of 1-1. U-lO’s Rams, sponsored by Over Jordan Farms, defeated Madison 6-2. U-lO’s Rapp 3 team defeated Madison 3, 3-0. Congratulations to our U-lO’s.
