Wanda Snead

Hometown: Gid Brown Hollow, Washington Accomplishments: Bom in Rockingham County, daughter of Carl and Billie Jo Stickler, next to the oldest of 10 children. Wanda has one son who lives in Woodstock and two daughters, one who now lives in Richmond and attending VCU and another living in Charlottesville attending UVA. She has lived in Rappahannock County for ten years and is nharried to Sam Snead. They live in Gid Brown Hollow on Hillcrest Farm with their three dogs. Wanda works in property management in the Sam Snead Realty office. She manages properties for local people as well as several properties for people in other countries. Although her job is often stressful, she enjoys meeting and getting to know the people she manages property for. Wanda has always been a people person and her job is how she can use her talents. Wanda obtained a real estate license 15 years ago. This month she will be celebrating seven years in property management. Mrs. Snead is Sunday School Director of Washington Baptist Church, member of Front Royal Downtown Business Association, Co-Chairman of Chapter 77 Accredited Property Management Association. Wanda enjoys spending a Sunday afternoon with her father and siblings playing horse shoes and volleyball. She also enjoys walking, piano, golf and her animals. The Sneads plan to begin raising llamas in mid summer.
