Annie Putnam

Annie L. Putnam, 88, of Arlington, died April 13 in Fairfax Nursing Center after a long illness.

Mrs. Putnam was born Dec. 5, 1911, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Henry Samuel and Lucy Barron Blackwell. She was the last surviving family member of her generation.

She was married to the late Ernest B. Putnam. Survivors include numerous nephews and nieces.

The funeral was held April 17 at Murphy Funeral Home in Arlington with Rev. Todd Tennant officiating. Interment followed in Columbia Gardens Cemetery.
