Nothing could have nicer marked the rite of Spring than to see some 40 horsemen relaxing with their mounts taking in the 360 degree view from Red Oak Mountain last Sunday.
Thornton Hill Hunt Master Larry LeHew led a 3 1/2-hour ride from the old point-to-point course on Rt. 522 to the peak of this spectacularly beautiful hill. He and Billy Dodson are thinking about rebuilding the Thornton Hill course for a return of racing there next year.
