Donna G. Foster

Hometown: Sperryville Occupation: Deputy Clerk, Rappahannock Combined Court - General District and Juvenile. Accomplishments: Mrs. Foster grew up in Rappahannock and attended the public School system here. She is a 1981 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and also a graduate of University of Richmond with a BS degree in Business Administration. She worked in the banking field for 12 years. Two years ago, Mrs. Foster started to work at the Rappahannock Courthouse and just loves being five minutes away from work. She normally works three days a week and says hef job is always interesting and there’s never a dull moment. She is a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville, where she serves as treasurer. She is also Children’s Mission Leader, pianist for the children’s choir and a substitute Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Foster was past treasurer of the Sperryville Rescue Squad. She and her husband, Bobby have one daughter, Lauren, age 11. Mrs. Foster enjoys NASCAR, baseball, fishing and traveling. The Rappahannock News takes great pleasure in announcing Mrs. Foster as Citizen of the Week.
