He was bom on Jan. 31, 1932 in Virginia, a son of the late Thomas and Bertha Pullen.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired after 31 years of service with Wilson Trucking Company.
Survivors include his wife, E. Jean Pullen of Goldvien; four sons, Wayne Pullen of Washington, David Pullen of Chantilly,. Richard Pullen of Culpeper and Daniel Pullen of Lignum; one daughter, Linda Pullen of Woodbridge; one sister, Martha Garrison of Amissville; three brothers, James Pullen of Amissville, William Pullen of Colorado and Wilbur Pullen of Manassas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by two sisters, Loni Dowell and Virginia Pullen and seven brothers, Charlie Pullen, Johnny Pullen, Lewis Pullen, Presley Pullen, Russell Pullen, Thomas Pullen and Wade Pullen.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 21 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton with the Rev. Charles Webb officiating.
Interment was in Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
