identify youth soccer players from the ages of 12 to 18 for further development as part of the USSF National Teams.
The Central District includes all youth players who live in or play in one of the Travel Leagues in the Richmond, Charlottesville, Petersburg, Fredericksburg and Tidewater areas of Virginia. The Central District currently has approximately 30,000 youth players and will identify 100 boys and 100 girls of these players to participate at the Virginia State Identification Program.
Culpeper youth soccer players have been well represented on the ODP teams in past years. Recent players that have been identified from Culpeper youth soccer are, Robbie Kearney, Brad Armstrong, Preston Garrett, Glenn Gray, Mike Fairbrother, Bryan Wilson, Nathan Clark, Ralph Pace and Ashby Mills.
Tryout dates for this year’s Central district ODP teams will be announced after the beginning of the fall season.
