the students in the seventh grade class. They select one member of the class who best exemplifies kindness, support of others and a positive attitude. With tears in her eyes, Mrs. Holly Massie announced that the class had chosen Rachel Gall for this honor. It was a beautiful moment not only for Rachel and her parents, but for the entire assembly.
As the ceremony drew to a close, Mr. Richard Smith reminded the graduates to be kind to other people and never to be afraid of failure. As the recessional filled the room, the seventh grade class took its first steps toward the high school. And now; Pomp and Circumstance has ceased. The halls are quiet and the children are at home. A good year has come to a close. We are fortunate to be part of a community where there are so many wonderful children to celebrate.
