Sally Page Moffett, daughter of E. Page and Susan F. Moffett of Leesburg, graduated on June 13 from Loudoun County High School. She was chosen valedictorian and addressed her class during the evening ceremonies held at the Patriot Center at George Mason University.
During her four years at Loudoun County High School Moffett played trombone in the school’s Wind Ensemble and lettered in softball and lacrosse. She was a member of the National Honor Society and, during her senior year, served as Editor in Chief of Crossed Sabres, the school’s literary magazine. Outside of school she has been active in her church and in Girl Scouts.
In the fall Moffett will begin studies at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jean B. Moffett of Washington, and the late William F. Moffett, Jr. She is the niece of Frank Moffett of Washington.
