According to the report filed by Dep. James Welch, Clayton D. Willard, 22, of Amissville was eastbound on U. S. 211 at about 2 a.m. when Welch pulled him over for speeding.
While Welch was interviewing the driver, his passenger, Brian Lee Dodson, 23, of Sperryville, interrupted the questioning and became abusive, resulting in his arrest as well.
Willard was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, and Dodson was charged with being drunk in public and disorderly conduct. %
