Board From Page A1 Committee selected the firm of Rickmond Engineering to provide. support to develop a** “master plan for sports facilities.” The master plan will address issues including the best location for a track, design of a field house with concessions and restrooms, an auxiliary gym, and the overall layout of facilities. Rose Ann Sharp of the Programs and Planning Committee reminded attendees of the IB Program meeting this coming Friday at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorum. Aileen Johnson of the Personnel Committee noted that the Committee is working on a questionnaire that will attempt to find the cause of low morale in the teaching staff. Franklin Warner clarified that there were “some reports that morale is low.” Headwaters Representative Rosa Crocker listed Headwater’s action items that were developed as a result of ( their recent retreat. They include coordinating local school funding resources; 1 providing grant-writing : support to the school system; and increasing parental involvement in school affairs. She also reported results of the prison camp at Andersonville, Ga., where he somehow survived several brutal months of imprisonment and produced perhaps the best visual 1 images of that huge prison ' camp ever seen. Private Sneden’s memoir ' and his detailed drawings and } maps, reproduced in full color, ■ constitute one of the richest personal accounts of the Civil 1 War, from the ordinary sol- ' dier’s perspective, that has ever been recorded.
