In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a brother, Clarence Henry “C.H.” Deal and an infant sister, Joyce Faye Deal.
Mrs. Jeffryes received her education at Ann Arundel High School in Maryland. Following her marriage, she moved to the Columbus, Neb. area. The couple also lived a short time in Oklahoma and Colorado before returning to Columbus where they have lived since she owned and operated Jeffryes Day Care for over 20 years. She enjoyed ceramics, crafts and cross stitching.
She enjoyed spending time with her family at the cabin and watching their bowling events.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, March 8 at First Baptist Church in Columbus by the Rev. Denison Conner. Burial was at Rural Genoa, Neb.

Louise May Miller, 74, of Stanley died Saturday, March 3 at Potomac Center in Arlington.
She was bom on Oct. 1, 1926 in Rappahannock County and was a daughter of the late Homer Newton and Virgie Alma Dwyer Frazier.
Mrs. Miller worked at the Luray Textile and the Luray Blue Bell. She was a member of the Luray Christian Disciples of Christ.
On Dec. 3,1947 she married Harold Elwood Miller, who died on June 17, 1966.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Stoneberger of Luray; a daughter-in-law, Katinna Sue Miller of Luray; one grandson; four granddaughters and four great-grandchil
