Rappahannock County Fire Levy Board
The Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County is seeking a qualified person to serve as a citizen representative to the Rappahannock County Fire Levy Board. The applicant should be a land owning resident and registered voter of Rappahannock County, interested in the provision of emergency response services (fire & rescue).
Fire Levy Board members serve at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors. The Fire Levy Board has two scheduled meetings per year to approve bills, and meets on such other occasions as may from time to time be necessary. The members serve as volunteers. Other members include an additional three citizen members, a representative from the Board of Supervisors, and one from the Fire & Rescue Association.
