Wolf praised the local firefighters and the professional firefighters who worked around the clock to contain the fire in the park last November.
“We were lucky that more damage wasn’t done,” Wolf said. “Should a similar situation arise in the future, I am hopeful that these funds will enable local volunteer firefighters to take a more active role in helping contain the early stages of a fire.”
