We think “Best in Show” is just about the funniest movie produced since the Marx Brothers. It is nonstop deadpan humor about various entrants into the nation’s number one dog show.
The dogs are funny enough, but their handlers are hilarious. There are a half dozen dogs that star and perhaps a dozen humans.
The film gives a series of snapshots of each group, dog and its people, as they get ready for the climactic event. The plot, if you can call it that, is a bit casual but works well.
