RCES Principal
Despite the fact that most students left for the summer on June 15, things are hopping at RCES! The r2-month staff (secretary, custodians and principals) has been busy with a number of tasks in preparation for the 2001-02 school year.
We are pleased to report that we have had approximately 85 students at RCES this summer participating in summer programs. As has occurred for several summers, a four week summer school program has been held for students entering grades three through six. This had been well attended, largely due to out being able to offer transportation for the first time.
We have also had the pleasure of offering “Jumpstart Kindergarten”, a program for youngsters entering Kindergarten a this fall. We appreci- A
