Planning
Many older people do not preplan their funerals and the bereaved family may he forced to make decisions and purchase services and merchandise while undergoing emotional stress. In such circumstances, it is perfectly normal for the bereaved to experience feelings of guilt and confusion about planning the funeral. These feelings can be avoided by preplanning your funeral and sparing family members the burden of making arrangements during their time of grief, individuals who plan their own funerals may also realize the benefit of conveying particular meanings about themselves or about death. These individuals take the responsibility for choosing a type of service, musical selections who will preside, whether to have an underground burial or cremation and so forth.
