Roger Menefee of Washington and James Menefee of Flint Hill and four sisters, Margaret Flincham of Front Royal, Oakey Lambert and Annie Layton, both of Charlottesville and Bertie Pullen of Flint Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Jean Jenkins Menefee and one brother, Cleveland Menefee.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 18 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Evangelist Dr. Floyd Brewer.
Interment followed in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Military honors were provided by the Culpeper American Legion Post #330 and the Culpeper VFW Post #2524.

Lewis Walter Butler Sr., 88, died on Tuesday, July 10 at the Culpeper Health Care Center.
He was born on Jan. 27, 1913 in Rappahannock County, a son of Belle Brown.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville.
In addition to his mother; he was also predeceased by his wife, Olga Tyler Butler; his elder son, Walter Butler; a brother, Carol Butler and a sister, Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) Butler.
