Rappahannock’s teen club, Club Getaway, will open its doors on Friday, July 20 to welcome the County’s teenagers to its new temporary facility in the former Black Kettle restaurant. The club will provide County teens, from thirteen through high school age, with space for meeting, chatting, recreation, study . . . for any reasonable activity that club members desire.
Club Getaway will be open from 7 to 11 p.m. each Friday, and will expand its days and hours of operation as club membership and the corps of adult volunteer chaperones grows. Club membership is open to all Rappahannock County teens and a simple application, with a parent’s signature, is all that is required for membership.
A broad range of programs is being considered for the club by the sponsoring non-profit
