An “angled head-on” collision on the evening of Dec. 21 on Route 659 (Resettlement Road) near Flint Hill took the life of a Rappahannock County man.
According to Trooper S. M. Knick of the Virginia State Police, Troy D. Foster, 30, of Huntly southbound in a 1997 Toyota pickup truck at about 5:50 p.m. when he collided with a northbound 1986 Ford pickup truck driven by Joseph F. Claffey, 64 of Flint Hill.
