Due to failing health, J.W. Critzer of Washington has tendered his resignation as sheriff of Rappahannock County, effective Jan. 15. He has held this office for 11 and half years.
Edward F. Clatterbuck of Arlington killed an albino deer in Gid Brown Hollow in December. As far as is known this deer is the first of its kind killed in the county. Pictured with Mr. Clatterbuck were Carson Johnson, Game Checker in Sperryville and C.'Ennis Brown, State Game Warden.
