The pundits have compared Sept. 11 to the Day of Infamy-the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, and to the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963. They say that we will forever remember the events of that day, just as those of us who were in this world remember where we were and what we were doing when the Japanese attacked us in 1941 and when an assassin's bullets took JFK’s life in 1963.
