don’t miss Tom and Steve and “Their Very Musical Friends”. Tom and Steve were musical magicians, Kristen Jones “on the pans” made steel drums sound like platinum; Joellen Perry’s voice, solo or in harmony was always a delight; Ira Gitlan on the bass and James McLoughlan on a variety of percussion instruments earned and received the special audience attention they were given.
My memory is longer than most folks I know and I come from a musical heritage but I cannot remember a concert that I enjqyed this much, this side of heaven, anyway.
