The Inn then returned to the new Council the following month with a new request for a special use permit for 714 square feet of the Tavern for retail space. The lighting shop was left out of the application because that retail space is technically already in existence. However, the amount of total retail space will still exceed 1,000 square feet.
When asked what other uses were intended for the Tavern, the Inn representatives explained that they have not yet decided. They also said they had not yet decided about any changes to the Post Office building.
