SO A Advisor , The Student Council Association is gearing up for the pew school year this summer by pending co-president Tony Starks, vice-president Alex Sitorius. and secretary Robyn Pivarmk to a leadership workshop at Longwood College July 28 through Aug. 1.
Co-president Henry Robertson will be attending School Board meetings as the student representative from the High School.
The officers have begun brainstorming activities for the 2002-2003 school year. Some of these are school opening activities in August, Homecoming festivities in October or November, carnation sales within the school in February, possible MayFest/Field Day, and teacher appreciation luncheon in June.
The officers are planning an activity monthly or every six weeks to keep school spirit up. Homeroom representatives will Ire selected the first week of school. Watch for news of these young people as their leadership of the school has a positive effect.
