Since a hot grill is easier to clean than a cold grill, clean with a wire brush or scraper immediately after cooking. To turn the cylinder valve on and off of your propane tank, remember “rightie tightie, lefty, loosey.” After grilling, the cylinder must not be stored indoors or within any enclosed space.
Take time this summer to enjoy backyard grilling and barbecuing. The next time you are at the market, pick up some fresh fish steaks or cuts of beef, a basket of delicious homegrown fruits and vegetables, and hurry home to fire up the grill. Call your friends and neighbors and tell them to meet you in the backyard — they won’t want to miss it!
Little Miss Ashlyn Ramey celebrated her fifth birthday on Sunday, July 14 with a party at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Campground in Luray. All enjoyed the picnic as the children (and parents too!) played on the beautiful campground surroundings. The birthday girl was most surprised when Yogi Bear himself showed up to present her with a birthday cake, balloons, and a gift!
