Gore and wife, Cathy of Virginia Beach; the mother of his children, Anna Mae Gore of Culpeper and her children, Robert Eric Crowell and Robbin Crowell Norris; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one sister, Marie G. Utz of Castleton.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by four brothers, Garnett Gore, Edward Gore, Richard Gore and Elmer Gore and two sisters, Nina Compton and Della Marino.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, July 12 from the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange by the Rev. Forest Porter. Interment followed in the Graham Cemetery. Military honors were held by American Legion Post #330 and V.F.W. Post #2524 of Culpeper.
