Rappahannock defeated the Eagles with a score of 15-4. For the Varsity girls this was their warm up for the big show. The championship game was next.

That evening, the Varsity Lady Panthers with an undefeated record took the court against the Brentsville Tigers with a record of 14-8 for the Bull Run District Championship.

Ryisha Cook, who holds the RCHS record for 14 straight service points, gave Rappahannock a 2-0 lead to start off the first match.

The side out gave the Tigers their first point, and Brittany Thornhill was next to serve. Her first serve was a hard ace followed by two more points for the Panthers.

Rappahannock was off to a 6-1 lead. With the Bull Run District Player of the Year up to serve, Rachel Sharp, with 202 kills and 70 blocks for the season, served four points and Rappahannock was on a roll.
