They then went on to the Region Quarter Finals in Luray on Friday. Feb. 21.
Their first opponent was the number two ranked team in the Shenandoah District, Central of Woodstock. The first match was a tough one J) Central started off with a 4-0 lead. The ladies fought back to within two points for a score of 9-7, but Central kicked it in overdrive and tallied up a score of 13-7.
Coach Neiters called another time out. The girls came out with Danielle Hiserman serving three straight aces. After two side outs, Rappahannock won 153.
The Lady Panthers took the second match 15-7.
The next stop on the journey was Orange County Complex where the Lady Panthers faced off against the defending regional champions, William Campbell.
William Campbell started off the first match with a 6-0 lead. The Panthers called a time out to settle the girls and the "regional jitters." Then they came out and point-by-point inched their way back.
