Cable wrote about at great length last week.
Nor will I plan to attend either of the events he invited us all to attend next month. If by this admission I appear to be opposed to peace and justice in our world, let me say that this is not so. I desire these things just as passionately as does Mr. Cable and all who attend such events.
I’m just at a loss as to how any of the celebrities Mr. Cable cited in his letter would go about disarming and replacing the brutal thug who rules Iraq through the use of fear and who desires to extend his evil influence as widely as he can.
There is no need to go as far back in history as the 1930’s to illustrate the uselessness of reason in dealing with Saddam Hussein and his evil ilk. I doubt that Mr. Cable was around at the time (nor was 11 so, it would just be a dry history lesson.
