Mary Simirmns had two applications before the board: one to add four windows to the Country Heritage building at the corner of Main and Piedmont streets; and the other to erect stairs at the front of the small log cabin on Main Street next to the Clopton House. It s a treasure trove in our community,’ said one Historical Society member describing Miss Ruby Jenkins’ museum on Main Street. A video visit to the museum will highlight the Historical Society’s quarterly meeting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 7 at the Rappahannock Library. Society president Kathy Knuepfer invites all members and friends to attend this presentation and relive moments from our county’s recent past.
