relatively easy time last Wednesday. Mary Simirmns had two applications before the board: one to add four windows to the Country Heritage building at the corner of Main and Piedmont streets; and the other to erect stairs at the front of the small log cabin on Main Street next to the Clopton House. The ARB unanimously approved her application for the additional windows. . . (and) the steps.

Robert Anderson, president of the Rappahannock County Farm Bureau, reminds local citizens that March 14-20 is National Agriculture Week.

It s a treasure trove in our community,’ said one Historical Society member describing Miss Ruby Jenkins’ museum on Main Street. A video visit to the museum will highlight the Historical Society’s quarterly meeting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 7 at the Rappahannock Library. Society president Kathy Knuepfer invites all members and friends to attend this presentation and relive moments from our county’s recent past.
