Teens invited to celebrate
All teenagers are invited to a Winterfest celebration on Sunday, March 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church. There will be competitions, drama, good food and fun for all. Rev. Jon Heddleston will present a discussion on abstinence at this “True Love Waits” party. Parents are more than welcome to attend.
Country breakfast March 1
An old-fashioned country breakfast buffet, prepared by Pat Jenkins and Shirley Frye, will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 7 a.m. at the historic Reager School located beside the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church in H!io,tly, which is sponsoring the event. It will benefit the Reager Relay for Life Team. Cost is $5 for adults; $2 for children 12 and under.
Sharp Rock to hold tasting
Sharp Rock Vineyards will reopen for tastings and tours on Friday, Feb. 28. from 1 to 5 p.m. and continue on Saturday. 12 to 5 p.m. and Sunday. 1 to 5 p.m., or by appointment. The vineyard is near Old Rag Mountain off Route 231 about eight miles south of Sperryville. Call 9879700 for more information.
