budget work sessions closed to the public were some of the concerns voiced at Monday night’s special meeting of the Rappahannock School Board. The issues were big but attendance was sparse at the first of a series of budget sessions, this one specifically intended for “citizen input."
Bland Music Contest winners in the vocalists’ category were Angela Grigsby of Washington, first place, and Halimah Holliday of Bentonville, second. Instrumentalists in the contest who received awards were Paula Butler, second place, and Arnold Glass, a student at Wakefield School, first place.
