In the School Board race, incumbent Aline B. Johnson has qualified for the Piedmont seat; Sharon Kilpatrick for the Stonewall-Hawthome seat and at press time no candidate had filed for the seat left by Douglas Baumgardner in the Hampton district.
A petition has been circulating in the county for signatures for Ken Marlor, the Boston postmaster, who is seeking to run against Kilpatrick. At press time, he had not submitted his petition to be qualified.
