The Rappahannock Youth Soccer League played its seventh weekend of games on Saturday, May 31.

U-8

Our Motorcycle Factory Rapp Riders won against Madison’s Bavarian Chef Golden Eagles. There was outstanding passing and shooting. Taylor Ordile did very well tenaciously attacking the ball. Case Cramer had four quick goals in the first half booting, the ball into the net. Another big boot was from Patrick Foley blasting the ball almost through the net. We had great passing in the second half from Grace Ott, Daniel Schlosser and Celine Brass who had three break-away goals running down the field. Excellent offense and defensive play from Blake Jeanniton, Josh Jones, Peyton Bailey and Derek Frink passing the ball and keeping it out of our end.

U-10

Caporuscio’s U-10 boys, sponsored by Long Island Concrete played Madison. The sun finally shone for the teams to play. Both played well but Madison came out on top 5-0. Rapp stars included James Dawson, Logan McKiernan and Conor O’heir.

The Pink Panthers U10 girl’s soccer team sponsored by Sunnyside Farms finally got to play Saturday. The game was home against a powerful Culpeper team.

Sierra Hagy started the Panthers off with their first goal. Bryn Sonnet scored in the second period. Sarah Henry and Caitlin Humbles were the goalies for the game and they had their hands full. The final score was 2 to 5.

U-12

The U12 girls, the Blue Storm, sponsored by Ivy Cliff Farms, beat Culpeper 4-0. This was our first game in weeks and the girls played a well despite a lack of practice or playing J
